WHO THIS TRAINING IS FOR
This training is designed for early years practitioners, educators and leaders who want to move beyond activity-led outdoor learning and develop a deeper understanding of nature-based practice. It is particularly valuable for those who: • Feel passionate about outdoor learning but want greater confidence in their practice. • Want to understand the theory and pedagogy behind nature-based education. • Are looking to create environments that support curiosity, wellbeing and meaningful learning. • Want to move beyond simply providing outdoor activities and begin designing nature-led learning experiences. • Are interested in progressing towards recognised Nature Practitioner Accreditation. Many practitioners care deeply about connecting children with nature, but often feel pressure to constantly create activities, resources and experiences. This course explores a different approach. One that focuses on understanding how children learn through nature, how environments shape behaviour and learning, and how practitioners can develop the confidence and expertise needed to create meaningful nature-led practice.

Meet the Wild Ones
Founded by Forest School Leaders and childminders Jodie Poole and Rachel Lawrence in 2023. We design eco-friendly, low supply nature study packs, run a forest school and accredited training. We are passionate about children learning in Nature. We have also published children's books and are an AQA unit award centre for home educated children.
