Where the Wild Ones Learn

We are Jodie Poole and Rachel [Surname], co-creators of Where the Wild Ones Learn and passionate advocates for nature-based, trauma-informed education. Together, we bring decades of experience in early years pedagogy, curriculum design, and creative resource development—rooted in play, connection, and deep respect for children’s emotional worlds. Jodie is a strategic leader, author, and curriculum designer with a gift for translating developmental theory into magical, accessible learning experiences. Her work blends poetic storytelling with practical tools—Canva-ready resources, schema-linked activities, and accreditation-aligned CPD programmes that empower educators to embed inclusive, sensory-rich practice. Rachel is a forest school practitioner, facilitator, and relational pedagogy specialist. She brings grounded wisdom, warmth, and a deep understanding of how outdoor learning supports regulation, resilience, and belonging. Her sessions are rich in storytelling, movement, and emotional safety—creating spaces where children and adults alike feel seen, heard, and held. Together, we design courses, workshops, and toolkits that honour the whole child, support the whole educator, and celebrate the wild wisdom of nature. Whether you're here for CPD, curriculum inspiration, or community connection, we’re so glad you’ve found us.
