Where the Wild Ones Learn
Rachel brings both lived experience and professional expertise to this webinar. She is a parent to a child with a PDA profile, giving her real insight into daily life, communication, and the emotional world of PDA. Professionally, she has worked in the early years sector and managed residential homes for children with behavioural and complex needs, supporting children who require safety, flexibility, and attuned adults. Her perspective is honest, practical, and deeply rooted in understanding the child beneath the behaviour. Jodie is a nature‑based early years educator, curriculum designer, and founder of Where the Wild Ones Learn. She specialises in neuro‑affirming, child‑led practice, helping practitioners create environments that reduce overwhelm and support regulation. With extensive experience observing autistic and PDA profiles in early years settings, she brings a calm, accessible approach to understanding behaviour through the lens of the nervous system. Her training style is warm, clear, and grounded in everyday practice.
